\n\tUm relatório publicado pelo Greenpeace da Ásia diz que a poluição atmosférica vem sendo um grande causador de mortes na China. Em quatro grandes cidades analisadas (Pequim, Xangai, Cantão e Xian), o número de mortes causadas apenas por um tipo de partícula poluídora chega a 8,6 mil. Essa partícula,conhecida como material particulado fino 2,5 (PM2.5), é temida pelo alto grau de periculosidade causando dano aos tecidos pulmonares e cardiovasculares.<\/p>\n
